Happy birthday kl aka AH CHUA!!! For everybody who doesn’t know her, she is my good friend in hughes parry hall I only got to know her after I came london but she is super cool! And sporty! And nice! And friendly! And nice to talk to! And the best thing is, we are all part of the Krispy Kreme Klub which we form. So being good KKK members, we decided to have a super duper special birthday cake for her – a dozen Krispy Kreme shaped in the number ’20′ since she is turning 20         look how happy she is with her krispy kremes           kl & me

pancake outing!

Had a blast with romy and ana! Went to passfield to make dutch pancakes after bball match! We lost for the match but nevertheless it was such a good match. It was the best we ever played. Even though we were down by about 15 points for 3/4 of the game, we managed to catch up and lost by only 3 points. It was super heart-wrenching and towards the last 1.34 minute, we were down by 1 point and all of us were screaming our lungs out. It was so high intensity that even the referee could feel it! But it was great. The team spirit was simply great I love my team. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. After 3 weeks of not seeing my team, I realised how much I actually miss them…It’s really funny but they are so fun to hang out with.After the match, we headed down to waitrose [my fav supermarket] to buy ingredients for our pancakes! We were so excited. And along the way we talked about so much stuff and I just could not stop laughing. We had an interesting conversation about guys. Ok maybe just 2 guys. It was hilarious. And when we went to passfield kitchen, we met some girl there which was super nice. She was quite an expert in cooking so she helped us with our pancakes. Meeting with MPA pple

Met up with Eggy, Gordon and Anthony yesterday. Went Hare and Tortoise. Gordon and I gave in to the normal tendency to order laksa. It is my 3rd time eating laksa already!!! But it was nice. But the portion was SUPER HUGE. I ate till I almost vomited and my stomach was very pain from yesterday night to this morning Had some talk with eggy and gordon in my room after dinner over a packet of Haribo jelly beans Yes, even though we were so full, we still had to eat cos it’s HARIBO!!! I love Haribo. I am a big fan of Haribo… And milo too I love sweets and milo. The other food are not that important. Haha. And we talked about A LOT of stuff…scholarships, LSE, UCL, friends and, yes eggy, I really agree with what you said! We should have more heart to heart talks! Haha. Then we can find what we want in each other But nevertheless, I enjoyed the company a lot. Thanks guys. Next week, actually tmr, Ramesh is coming! And we gonna meet up with him too. Yay, it’s my 3rd meeting with MPA pple already! I hope more will come.

Lord of the Rings Musical

Went to watch Lord of the rings musical on wednesday. It was good!!! And we got it for 10 pounds only. The organizer rocks. I hope he organizes more of this kind of stuff. I love musicals. I can still remember Les Mis. That was so good. Going to watch Phantom soon. I think phantom will be even better So many of my friends have watched it liao. I wanna watch wicked too! Hope someone organizes that and I will just tag along… School work is getting tougher now. I don’t understand stats at all. And Macro is so much tougher than micro. I used to be able to do webct in at most 15 min?! This week, 3 hours was not even enough for me. Oh man. And I can finally say that I have not much time to do stuff. I was relatively free for the Michaelmas term. Lent term is so much worse! So many things to do. LSE IS NOT SLACK. Haha. I always hear people say of how slack LSE is and how it is so easy for singaporeans to do well. Erm, I beg to differ on both statements. At least my circumstances do not prove that to be true. Haha. On the other hand, netball match next tuesday 630pm at Euston! Finally it is so near to my hall and I can’t make it! Netball is such a costly sport in LSE. To travel to Berrylands, we pay 4.70 pounds for cheap day return. If we are lucky, we can get it for 2.35 pounds [buy one get one free]. Then the bus ride to waterloo and back from berrylands is 1.80 pounds altogether. So one trip can cause me up to 6.50 pounds! Some of my friends take weeks to spend this amount of money. Haha. Oh well shall not complain! I love netball anyway. On the bright side, I am popping A LOT of starbursts into my mouth now I simply have no self control when it comes to sweets. Especially when it is less than one arm’s length away from me!

Sigh. I injured my calf. My doctor friend said I either pulled my muscle or tore my muscle. But judging from how I can still walk, I believe it’s a pull. That means no netball and bball for … [i dunno when]. Somehow not running everyday doesn’t seem to have a big impact on me. I always thought I couldn’t start a day without running. Seems like I can. But the idea of not having bball or netball for even a short period of time really has a big impact on me. Last tues, I woke up unable to walk to the toilet to brush teeth! That was the day I decided to rest from all sports. So that day I waited 3 hours in school for bball and the wait was sooooo torturous. I tried to do hw but wasn’t successful. It was really bad. It was the first time I ever had to stay in school for so long. Maybe cos I knew I could have been at bball. I dunno?! Then wed missed netball training. And now go gym only do upper body. Sian. And I finally concluded that running everyday is very very harmful. I knew from research last time that running everyday is harmful. Not only does it hurt your knee, but it also increases chance of injury. But I didn’t really confirm that was true. Now I can confirm it. I injured my calf at bball training which was seriously not tough at all. I didn’t even sweat but the impact was so bad that last tuesday I really limped all the way back. And I know that I have high tolerance of pain. So if I feel a little pain, it means it’s very painful to a normal person. So I know that when I complain of pain, it must be very bad. That’s why I thought I recovered, but I didn’t. The pain was prob still there but I didn’t feel it. Sigh. I had to go through one big round to stop myself from running everyday But at least now I know, I am definitely not ever ever going to run everyday again. I am going to do alternate days. I still need my healthy legs to do sports. Haha. I guess I will still gym everyday since I automatically wake up at 7am?! But now I will do weights on alternate days. So bye bye treadmill everyday, welcome weights machine alternate days. Haha. I want to get well NOW NOW NOW and start playing NOW :):) I want to join imperial singapore netball team! So cool and I wanna play bball on friday!!!! Soon soon. That’s my motivation for resting now. So that I can play in the future! muahahahaha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHERN!!! It’s no longer 22nd jan in singapore but it still is in london Anyway just wanna let u know that I love you a lot! Training with you makes it so much better. You are so nice and encouraging. I was quite sad that I was not able to meet up with you, bel, wy before I left cos of our clash of schedules Nvm I will date you all out once I come back to Singapore. Anyway have a great birthday! I’m sure it went really well in singapore all the best for this year! I can’t wait to see you again….haha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CA!!! I LOVE YOU A LOT!!! I saw photos of u in china on ur blog and on facebook. Bet you are having a blast there Anyway, just wanna wish u the best in this coming yr. It’s gonna be another phase of life but I know u will excel no matter what path u choose to take cos you are my zai friend (in bball, guitar, studies and basically everything). Thanks for everything, for teaching me guitar, for encouraging me in bball and church, for just being so sweet always. I really treasure our friendship. It has been 5+ years since I know you and I know my life would not be the same if you didn’t come into my life. You are really very special to me and I will always keep all those moments that I spent with you dearly in my heart. Love you forever and ever!!! Muacks. Have a great birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA!!! Sorry I know it is a bit late. Ur birthday is on 14 January… I remembered ok! Haha. And I facebooked u as well But anyway hope you had a fantastic birthday. I really miss you a lot here in London. I miss those times where I will go for bball trainings with you, rush to church here and there, go to your house so frequently, do all the nonsense together. We competed in EMERGE for captain’s ball and bball and resulted in u, ca and me going to Marche to eat quite a few times We did SO MANY things together that it just seems so different without you around. I want you to know that I LOVE YOU A LOT! I will date you once I come back. Haha. Anyway it has been such a great pleasure to know you. You are so zai in everything that you do. Bball captain, house captain, student leaders’ network vice, vice-pres of council…it will take me forever to name all ur achievements. I’m so proud to have u as my friend, a very very very close friend indeed. Thanks for all the times where you stayed up till late to talk to me on the phone/msn. Those are memories which I will keep forever in my life. Anyway have fun working in MOE If you are free, go and visit my dad. Haha. LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!! HAPPY VERY BELATED BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN
